The lyrics proclaim to build a new life, you must tear the old one down. For Touch, I use sewing pins to represent the pain of letting go and the pampas grass to portray the sweetness of a new beginning.

Get to Know the Artist:
Roberts received her MFA in Jewelry Design and Metalsmithing from Texas Tech University in 2010. Roberts has exhibited extensively in San Antonio including solo exhibitions at Clamp Light Gallery and Equinox Gallery, and group exhibitions at Blue Star Contemporary, Fl!ght, and Saint Mary’s University. Her works have been selected for exhibition during New York City Jewelry week and for print in Metalsmith magazine and JAMS Survey 2. She currently lives in San Antonio, TX and is Associate Professor of Art at Northwest Vista College.
