Get to Know the Artist:
Avi Odenheimer is a visual artist working in oils and watercolors. He holds a bachelor’s degree in animation and a master’s degree in architecture from the University of Toronto.
His paintings often feature animals and explore their relationship to the world around them. Avi’s work delves into the interaction between nature and human-made environments, highlighting the delicate balance between the two. Through his art, he captures both the precision of architectural forms and the organic, sometimes unpredictable qualities of the natural world, with animals frequently taking central roles in these dynamic interactions.
Avi’s paintings are marked by attention to detail, using oil paints to create rich textures and depth. The presence of animals in his work serves as a reminder of the living world that exists alongside our built spaces, and the complex ways in which these elements coexist.
