"I carved this piece after house hunting and feeling discouraged. This piece is a completely made up cottage in a place that doesn't exist and until I find a place of my own, it will do."

This limited edition relief print was carved by hand on linoleum in 2026 and pressed on small-batch paper in 75 signed and numbered editions. The paper is made from gampi fibers and is thin and soft, yet very strong with lightly textured fiber inclusions for an expressive surface and character. Made by an eight-generation company in Tokushima, Japan - the business creates sustainable, eco-friendly. acid-free paper that truly stands apart and an ideal backdrop for my work. The ink is an oil-based, but non-toxic ink handcrafted in Great Britain.

Each piece is carefully packaged in a protective cellophane made of 100% virgin, high clarity polypropylene film.

My designs are inspired by nature. Getting outside is good for the soul- it reminds us to slow down, stills our restlessness and turmoil and helps us reconnect with ourselves and appreciate the world around us. My goal is to bring peace and a little bit of whimsy to paper and cheer up someone in a small way. Through my artwork I try to capture some of the beauty of the natural world and share it with you!
