Get to Know the Austin Artist:
Katie is an avid traveler and explorer of all kinds. She is focused on the body of work entitled "Wildflowers" and is continually expanding on “Girls” which visually probes the indulgence of desire through blind-contour line drawings of the female figure. Katie now calls South Austin her permanent homestead and studio.
A new endeavor for 2018 is Katie’s plant design works of Forage and Flourish. Succulent gardens and terrariums where you can lose yourself in the one of a kind hand sculpted creations. Locally sourced, these containers and foraged accents bring the gardens to life and add freshness and tranquility to any home. Katie exhibits and curates across the US.
