Ceramic tiles

I made this piece as an homage to one of my dear fiends who is a doula!

Get to Know the Artist:
Claire is an Austin native that has been practicing ceramics since graduating from Alfred University in 2010. She explores patterns to create a language through imagery and repetition that is designed to be interpreted by the viewers inspection and introspection. She uses our relation to certain imagery and our trust in recognizing its perceived inherent beauty through the predisposed definition. The partnership between the viewer and the content seeks to play with that transient moment between initial perceptions and the understanding that develops through exploration.
