Get to Know the Austin Artist:
Katie Chance completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). Launching in 2020 is her newest body of work, Austin Skylines. These large scale paintings are a detailed study of the constantly changing and captivating downtown landscape. Austin Skylines follows in Katie’s signature style of continuous, line illustrations also seen in her provocative Girls series.
Katie is an avid traveler and explorer of all kinds, and views her work as a bond between nature and mindfulness. She finds constant inspiration by her backyard garden in South Austin and the entire city in which she lives. Katie works with watercolor, ink and gouache.
