90 Drawings in 90 Days
In Clinton’s own words…
“Let's start with the why. Clinton Millsap challenged himself to do a drawing a day for 365 days, he made it to 90.
Ok, so it’s simple, a challenge is challenging. It forces you to commit to drawing. If you commit to drawing 1 drawing a day for 31 days, what you draw daily doesn't matter. It is the simplest act of just making anything. The challenge is the boundary not the subject matter or style. The most important part is making stuff daily. Good, bad, almost there. Something.
Now, I’m so proud of each little crazy piece of treasure I made. I challenged myself in subject, style, technique and schedule. 90 was so much more of journey than I realized. I wanted to share this with anyone willing to look. Look at how much art can be made in 90 days. It's the most work I have ever made in a single year. What could you accomplish if you dreamed one size too big…”
